I worked in Photoshop on restoring a really old picture of my Opa that was cut and scratched and ripped right across the middle. It's not perfect obviously, but I think I did pretty well.
The only sketchy part was the shoe, which I was unsure of what to do with, but I was able to completely erase the large rip and my mom was pretty happy.
